This position serves as the primary financial leader and strategic business partner across the dual-hotel operation, working closely with ownership, General Managers, and department leaders to drive profitability, accountability, and long-term success.

Serve as the primary financial advisor to the General Managers and Executive Leadership Teams for both hotels. • Develop and execute strategies to improve profitability through financial analysis, cost/benefit evaluation, and identification of revenue opportunities across both properties. • Lead the development and execution of annual operating budgets and business plans for the dual-hotel operation. • Prepare accurate financial forecasts and monitor actual performance against budget and forecast. • Analyze financial results, identify trends and business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to hotel leadership. • Evaluate labor forecasts and staffing plans to support efficient operations and responsible wage management. • Partner with department leaders across both properties to improve financial accountability and operational performance. • Identify opportunities to control costs while maintaining service quality and the overall guest experience. • Support capital planning and evaluate the financial implications of property investments and operational initiatives.
Finance & Accounting Operations
Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions for both hotels. • Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly financial statements, P&L reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Review financial transactions for appropriate account coding, expense timing, and revenue recognition. • Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of hotel revenue and expenses across both properties. • Ensure applicable taxes are properly accrued, recorded, and filed. • Prepare and submit required financial reports in accordance with ownership, brand, and regulatory deadlines. • Monitor working capital, cash flow, and overall liquidity across the dual-hotel operation. • Review audit results and ensure appropriate corrective actions are completed. • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with company and brand standards. • Establish consistent financial practices and reporting expectations across both properties.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting teams supporting both hotels. • Establish clear goals, expectations, and accountability standards. • Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing professional development. • Ensure new finance associates complete orientation and required job training. • Promote cross-training and operational flexibility across the dual-hotel finance operation. • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Serve as a role model for professionalism and ethical financial practices.
Stakeholder & Owner Relations
Represent both hotels in ownership meetings, financial reviews, and business planning discussions. • Clearly communicate financial performance, opportunities, risks, and recommendations to ownership and hotel leadership. • Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business insights for non-financial leaders. • Partner closely with the General Managers and Executive Leadership Teams to align financial strategy with operational priorities. • Support department leaders across both properties in understanding financial results and improving departmental performance. • Maintain strong working relationships with ownership, corporate leadership, hotel leadership, associates, and external partners.
Compliance, Controls & Risk Management
Maintain strong internal controls designed to safeguard hotel assets and reduce financial risk across both properties. • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, SOPs, LSOPs, lease agreements, and contractual requirements. • Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audits for both hotels. • Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions. • Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures across both properties. • Protect confidential financial, associate, guest, and company information. • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
