Procurement Manager - Home Care Liquid

About the Role

The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across Home Care materials, ensuring supply resilience, competitive cost management, strategic supplier partnerships, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

1/ Procurement Strategy & Category Management

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Home Care materials aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, cost drivers, and procurement risks to support sustainable business growth.
• Build short-term and long-term category strategies that enhance competitiveness and supply security.
• Drive supplier innovation and identify opportunities for value creation within the supply base.

2/ Competitive Cost Management

• Deliver procurement savings, productivity, and value creation targets across the assigned spend portfolio.
• Lead sourcing projects, supplier selection processes, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Conduct cost analysis, financial modeling, and total cost of ownership assessments to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities through value engineering, specification optimization, and demand management initiatives.

3/ Supplier Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to improve cost, quality, service, innovation, and sustainability.
• Develop supplier performance management frameworks and governance processes.
• Drive supplier capability development and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure effective commercial and contractual management of strategic supplier relationships.

4/ Supply Resilience & Risk Management

• Develop sourcing strategies that strengthen supply continuity and supplier resilience.
• Proactively identify and mitigate procurement and supply risks.
• Reduce dependency on sole-source suppliers through appropriate risk mitigation and contingency planning.
• Support business continuity initiatives to ensure uninterrupted supply.

5/ Stakeholder & Business Partnership

• Act as a trusted business partner to Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial stakeholders.
• Translate business priorities into procurement strategies and sourcing plans.
• Influence key decisions through strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.
• Collaborate across functions to support growth, efficiency, and innovation initiatives.

6/ Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing

• Advance Unilever's Sustainable Sourcing agenda through responsible sourcing practices.
• Embed sustainability considerations into sourcing strategies and supplier evaluations.
• Drive supplier sustainability programs and ESG improvements.
• Support Unilever's commitment to sustainable and responsible business growth.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business
• 5-7 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Supply Chain with at least 2 years at Manager role.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Raw Materials Procurement / Home Care or FMCG Manufacturing
• Proven track record of delivering procurement savings and managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Experience leading complex supplier negotiations and commercial discussions.
• Strong financial analysis, cost modeling, and business case development skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement systems.
• SAP and digital sourcing platform experience is an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills.
