Your Responsibilities
· Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate timekeeping records in ADP.
· Process payroll transactions, including PTO, deductions, garnishments, support orders, reimbursements, bonuses, taxes, insurance arrears, and other authorized payroll adjustments.
· Maintain payroll records, reports, and supporting documentation while assisting with payroll audits and data verification.
· Respond to payroll-related employee inquiries.
- HR Administration & Records Management
· Process new hire, employment status, leave, benefit, and termination transactions within the HRIS.
· Maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee information within the HRIS.
· Maintain employee personnel records, HR documentation, employment verifications, and electronic files in accordance with company policies, record retention requirements, and confidentiality standards.
· Conduct periodic audits of employee records, payroll information, and employment documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Prepare HR forms, notices, and employment-related correspondence.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
· Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, appreciation, and company-sponsored activities.
· Administer the company uniform program and coordinate employee recognition and appreciation initiatives.
· Coordinate monthly employee lunches, service anniversaries, birthdays, retirements, sympathy acknowledgments, and other employee recognition programs.
· Work collaboratively with vendors and internal departments to support employee engagement initiatives.
- Wellness Program Administration
· Coordinate company wellness initiatives by scheduling activities, promoting participation, maintaining wellness records, and working with wellness vendors.
· Coordinate wellness screenings, educational opportunities, immunizations, and other wellness-related activities.
· Maintain wellness participation records and program communications.
· Create and maintain employee communications through TV slides, bulletin boards, newsletters, announcements, and other internal communication channels.
· Prepare communications supporting employee engagement, wellness initiatives, and company programs.
· Generate and maintain HR and payroll reports, tracking logs, and supporting documentation.
· Coordinate assigned vendors supporting HR programs.
· Provide timely and professional customer service by responding to employee questions regarding payroll, HR processes, company programs, and general HR inquiries.
· Assist with special projects.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required; postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.
· One (1) or more years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, administrative support, customer service, or a related field preferred.
· Experience with payroll, timekeeping systems, and HRIS software (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
· Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Reliable, flexible, and able to support occasional extended hours as business needs require.
