The Senior Billing Specialist manages billing, payment posting, and the collection of accounts receivables from clients, insurance, and government boards. They are also responsible for verifying insurance coverage and resolving denied claims to maximize organizational reimbursement.
A high school diploma is required, though an associate degree or higher is preferred. Candidates must have at least 5 years of billing experience within a health center or nonprofit organization and proficiency in MS Office.
We are currently looking for a decisive, self-motivated individual to be a Sr. Billing Specialist. The Senior Billing Specialist is responsible for the billing, payment posting, and collection of accounts receivables and special projects assigned to assist with aging accounts receivable. Parties responsible for payment include but are not limited to the client, third party insurances, Medicaid and the ADAMHS Board. This opportunity will support the Manger of Billing and be backup in her absence.
