The technician will perform routine inspections, assessments, and repairs on U.S. Navy shipboard diesel engines and auxiliary equipment. They will also provide onboard maintenance training to ship's force personnel to improve fleet readiness and self-sufficiency.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and three to five years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of U.S. Naval diesel engines. An active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required for this position.
