Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant construction oversight experience and the ability to interpret complex construction drawings and specifications. A valid driver's license, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to pass a government background check are mandatory requirements.

Michael Baker is actively seeking Construction Inspectors to support infrastructure projects for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in San Diego. The Inspectors will be responsible for ensuring construction work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality assurance.
The approximate compensation range for this position is $30/hr to $45/hr. This compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
