The Field Service Technician II is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on gas compression packages in the field. They also provide leadership to junior technicians and ensure accurate documentation of all service activities.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of applicable experience and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency with OEM software and technical knowledge of gas compressor packages and electrical control systems is required.
The Field Service Technician II - Night Operator is responsible for working and driving alone to perform basic to advanced maintenance functions, procedures, activities and responsibilities associated with working on gas compression packages when an alarm sounds (1st call). Duties include learning from and assisting other technicians with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, installation, and commissioning of both gas fired and electric driven compressor packages. The purpose of the Field Service Technician II level is to acquire proficiency in performing advanced maintenance, new equipment installation, and overhaul actions with limited supervision that will allow for progression to the Field Service Technician III level.
