Candidates must have a degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting and at least 4 years of experience in corporate/investment banking or energy firms. Proficiency in financial modeling, DCF analysis, and Microsoft Office tools is required.

Project Finance US - Canada
1. Summary of Responsibilities:
The Associate Lead will be part of the team responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of Project Finance deals in BBVA New York.
In line with this level position they will have to concentrate on tasks such as preparing presentations, monitoring internal pipelines but keeping an eye on more senior tasks such as documentation of executed deals and, specifically, running financial models of awarded transaction

There will be some moderately complex responsibilities in line with the project finance nature of their underlying responsibilities. Although they are not supposed to have detailed knowledge of the product or actual experience, they are supposed to quickly develop a strong understanding of underwriting and risk analysis; including coordination and interaction with other client and product groups within the bank.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $170,000 to $190,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
