The Stationary Engineer operates and maintains primary facility systems, including medium to high-pressure steam boilers and power generation infrastructure. They are responsible for monitoring system performance, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing complex equipment repairs.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Stationary Engineer license for the City of Chicago. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in plant operations and boiler codes is required.
