Design 66 kV substations by preparing preliminary and detailed drawings, including SLDs and control and protection panels. Responsibilities also include performing design calculations, managing bills of materials, and coordinating with suppliers and other departments.
Requires a B.Sc. in Electrical Power and Machine department with 2-5 years of experience in HV substation control and protection secondary design. Proficiency in English, MS Office, and AutoCAD is required or preferred.

Key Accountabilities
• Reading the contract.
• Preparing of preliminarily base design drawings as Main SLD, R&M SLD, Interlock Principal, DC System, AC System, etc.
• Preparing base design calculations as DC package calculations, AC package, CT verification, VT verification, etc.
• Preparing Detailed design drawings for control and protection panels.
• Preparing the bill of material for control and protection panels.
• Attending FATs.
• Making LV Control Cables BOQ.
• Contacting and following up suppliers.
• Attending meetings with other departments and suppliers.
• Coding.
Qualification & Education:
Education: B.Sc. of Electrical Power and Machine department
Years of Experience: 2-5 years of experience in control & Protection secondary design of HV substations.
Language: English & Arabic
Computer skills: MS office, Autocad (Preferred), Panel Engineering software (Preferred)
