Responsabilités principales
Appels d’offres et structuration de contrats : Piloter la stratégie juridique pour les appels d’offres à enjeux élevés. Conseiller sur les structures de transaction, rédiger et négocier des accords complexes avec des entités privées et publiques, et garantir la conformité de tous les contrats aux exigences réglementaires régionales.
Exécution de projets : Fournir un soutien juridique continu pour des mégaprojets (EPC, clé en main, contrats de maintenance à long terme (LTSA), exploitation et maintenance (O&M)). Collaborer avec les équipes de gestion de contrats et gestion de projets pour gérer les avenants, les ordres de variation et la gestion des réclamations afin de minimiser les risques de contentieux.
Résolution des litiges : Gérer les litiges dans la région SEMEA sous la supervision du General Counsel de la région et en coordination avec le Responsable de la résolution des litiges Electrification, en ayant recours, selon le cas, au contentieux, à l’arbitrage, à la médiation ou aux négociations transactionnelles.
Conformité et conseil : Conseiller sur la conformité légale et réglementaire en France, dans l'Union européenne et dans l'ensemble de la région SEMEA.
Collaboration stratégique : Travailler de manière transversale avec les équipes EHS (Hygiène, Sécurité, Environnement), Propriété Intellectuelle (PI), RH et Conformité pour développer les meilleures pratiques. Créer et dispenser des formations juridiques et contribuer à l'élaboration de modèles, d'outils et de pratiques normalisées.
Déplacements professionnels : Ce poste exige la capacité et la volonté de se déplacer au sein de la région SEMEA, à hauteur d'environ 25 % du temps, pour intervenir sur les sites de projets, mener des négociations en présentiel et collaborer avec les parties prenantes régionales.
Qualifications
Formation : Diplôme en droit (Master 2, LL.B., JD ou équivalent) d’une faculté de droit reconnue.
Admission au barreau : Avocat au barreau en France ou membre en règle d'un barreau dans une juridiction pertinente. Une qualification de « solicitor » en Angleterre serait un atout.
Expérience : Minimum de 6 ans d'expérience, de préférence en tant que juriste d'entreprise ou au sein d'un cabinet d'avocats de premier plan.
Expertise spécialisée : Expérience démontrée dans les transactions commerciales internationales complexes au sein des secteurs de l'énergie, de la construction ou des infrastructures. Solide expérience en gestion de réclamations (claims management) et en résolution de litiges.
Langues : Parfaite maîtrise du français et de l'anglais indispensable. La maîtrise d'autres langues européennes et/ou de la langue arabe est un atout.

In this pivotal role, you will act as a key legal advisor to project management and sourcing teams, balancing commercial objectives with robust risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Deal Structuring: Lead the legal strategy for high-stakes tenders. Advise on deal structures, draft and negotiate complex agreements with private and government entities, and ensure all contracts align with regional regulatory requirements.
Project Execution: Provide ongoing legal support for mega-projects (EPC, Turnkey, LTSA, O&M). Partner with Contract and Project Management teams to handle amendments, variation orders, and claims management to minimize litigation exposure.
Dispute Resolution: Manage regional disputes under the supervision of the Lead Counsel and in coordination with the Head of Dispute Resolution, utilizing litigation, arbitration, mediation, or settlement negotiation as appropriate.
Compliance & Advisory: Advise on legal and regulatory compliance across France, the EU, and the broader SEMEA region.
Strategic Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with EHS, IP, HR, and Compliance teams to develop internal best practices. Create and deliver legal training materials and contribute to the development of standardized templates and tools.
Travel Commitment: This role requires the ability and willingness to travel within the SEMEA region, representing approximately 25% of your time, to support project sites, conduct face-to-face negotiations, and engage with regional business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: LL.B., JD, or equivalent from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission: Must be an Avocat in France or a member in good standing of the bar in a relevant jurisdiction. Qualification as a solicitor in England is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience, preferably as in-house counsel or within a top-tier law firm.
Specialized Expertise: Demonstrated experience in complex, cross-border commercial transactions within the energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors. Extensive background in claim management and dispute resolution.
