The professor will teach a course on the fundamental principles of constitutional law, covering topics such as the separation of powers and the Canadian state. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, facilitating student learning, and evaluating academic performance.
Candidates must hold a law degree (LL.L. or LL.B.) and be a member in good standing of a provincial Bar or the Chambre des notaires du Québec. Significant professional experience or academic expertise in constitutional law is required, with university teaching experience considered an asset.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

La Faculté de droit, Section de droit civil cherche à recruter des professeur.es à temps partiel qui se distinguent par leur expertise et qui jouent un rôle de premier plan dans la profession juridique. Pour enseigner ce cours, le ou la candidat.e doit :
- Détenir un LL.L. ou un LL.B. (ou leur équivalent);
- Être membre en règle du Barreau du Québec, du barreau d’une autre province ou de la Chambre des notaires du Québec;
- Avoir une expérience significative et pertinente dans le domaine concerné par ce cours et/ou détenir un diplôme d’études supérieures dans ce domaine et/ou avoir contribué à la recherche par des publications académiques démontrant une expertise reconnue dans ce domaine;
- Le fait d’avoir une expérience d’enseignement universitaire dans une faculté de droit est un atout.
