Séminaire de médiation : Cours de méthodologie; participation active aux travaux d’un séminaire de médiation; exercices de médiation. Séminaire de plaidoirie : cours de méthodologie, rédaction d’un mémoire; présentation d’une plaidoirie. Pratique du droit et éthique : devoirs du praticien du droit envers le public, son client, l’administration de la justice et la profession. Savoir-être en consultation et en représentation (capacité d’écoute; communication efficace; pratique du droit et émotions; collaboration avec d’autres professionnels). Enjeux éthiques et déontologiques découlant de l’utilisation des technologies de l’information et des communications dans la pratique du droit.

La Faculté de droit, Section de droit civil cherche à recruter des professeur.es à temps partiel qui se distinguent par leur expertise et qui jouent un rôle de premier plan dans la profession juridique. Pour enseigner ce cours, le ou la candidat.e doit : - Détenir un LL.L. ou un LL.B. (ou leur équivalent); - Être membre en règle du Barreau du Québec, du barreau d’une autre province ou de la Chambre des notaires du Québec; - Avoir une expérience de travail significative et pertinente en négociation et en représentation de clients devant des instances décisionnelles judiciaires et/ou administratives; - Le fait d’avoir une expérience d’enseignement universitaire dans une faculté de droit est un atout.
