Full job description
Do you get excited about improving digital journeys and turning website visitors into bookers? Are you analytical, commercially minded and equally comfortable with strategy and hands-on execution? Then keep reading!
Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We're a new type of hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize across Europe. Join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving Zokus who all have one thing in common: a passion for connecting people across the globe.
TELL ME MORE
As our eCommerce Lead, you own conversion. Specifically: Zoku's online booking journey, our conversion rate optimization and experimentation program and the growth of direct revenue across all four locations.
This is the single biggest value-creation opportunity in our commercial plan. Every visitor who books with us directly instead of through an OTA is margin we keep, a guest relationship we own, and data we can act on. You're the person accountable for moving that number, through disciplined testing, sharp digital merchandising and a booking journey that stops getting in people's way.
You'll own the performance of our website and booking engine, using data, experimentation and merchandising to help guests find the right path to book a stay, coworking space, meeting or event, restaurant table and more. Working closely with the Head of Marketing & eCommerce, Revenue, Commercial, CRM and SEO teams, as well as external agency partners, you'll turn digital opportunities into measurable improvements.
One day, you might be investigating a drop in conversion; the next, you could be shipping a landing page, designing an A/B test, or rethinking how an offer is presented at the exact moment someone is deciding.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as an eCommerce Lead… but here's a glimpse of what you can expect:
Own Conversion Rate Optimization: CRO is yours end to end, across the website and booking engine, for every product we sell online. You own the conversion rate, the roadmap that improves it and the reporting behind it.
Build & Run the Experimentation Program: Design and run a continuous testing program: maintain the hypothesis backlog, prioritize by expected impact, run clean A/B and multivariate tests, call the results honestly and roll the winners out across locations. You own the program, not just individual tests.
Grow Direct Bookings: Own the direct booking target. Develop and execute the initiatives that shift share away from OTAs and grow online revenue across stays, coworking, meetings and events, food and beverage and other commercial offerings.
Improve the Customer Journey: Find the friction across Zoku's booking paths and remove it, making it easier for guests to discover, compare and book the right product or experience.
Lead eCommerce Campaigns: Plan and launch website campaigns, landing pages and promotional journeys together with Marketing, Revenue and local teams.
Manage Digital Merchandising: Ensure rooms, workspaces, meeting packages, restaurant experiences, offers and direct-booking benefits are presented clearly, accurately and persuasively online.
Coordinate Website Content: Work with Marketing and local teams to keep website content relevant, consistent and commercially effective across all locations.
Analyze Performance: Monitor performance across the website, booking engine, meeting and event enquiries, restaurant reservations and digital campaigns. Turn data into clear insights and practical recommendations that improve conversion and revenue.
Work Smart with AI: Use AI throughout the cycle, analyzing session and funnel data, generating and pressure-testing hypotheses, drafting landing page and merchandising copy variants for testing, and speeding up reporting, so you can run more experiments than a team this size normally could.
Connect Digital Channels: Coordinate with SEO, paid media and CRM activities so traffic lands on relevant, high-performing digital experiences.
Manage Digital Projects: Coordinate website, booking-engine and tracking projects with agencies, technology partners and internal stakeholders.
Support Commercial Priorities: Help locations bring new rooms, packages and offers online while ensuring quality and consistency across the portfolio.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
A maximum salary of €3000,= gross monthly in accordance with experience and know-how.
A bonus system based on your team's collective goals.
Cool benefits like discounts, friends & family rates at all Zoku locations and plenty of reasons to visit our hotels.
A fun, international company with colleagues from across the globe to meet, learn and grow with.
Exciting on-the-job learning opportunities and fun events throughout the year to celebrate achievements and milestones.
Full ownership of CRO, experimentation and direct booking growth, one of the clearest value-creation opportunities in the business.
A blank page: you build the testing program, choose the tooling and set the standards, rather than inherit them.
A role at one of the 25 coolest hotels in the world, that feels like a second home and is purpose-driven.
WE LOVE PEOPLE WHO
Have 3-6 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, website management or conversion optimization.
Have run a structured experimentation or CRO program, not just occasional tests, and can talk through hypotheses that failed as easily as ones that won.
Have a strong understanding of website performance, booking journeys and digital customer experience.
Have experience working with CMS platforms, booking engines, analytics tools and digital campaigns.
Are commercially minded and focused on direct revenue, conversion and measurable results.
Are analytical and comfortable translating data into practical improvements.
Use AI tools daily to move faster on analysis, copy variants and reporting.
Are strong project managers who can coordinate multiple stakeholders, agencies and technology partners.
Are hands-on, structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to move from analysis to execution.
Have experience in hospitality, travel, serviced apartments or multi-location businesses. This is considered a big plus.
Have previously worked with WordPress to manage a website, and PostHog to analyze e-commerce data.
A FEW MUST HAVES
You have experience managing or improving websites, booking journeys or digital conversion.
You have hands-on experience with conversion optimization, A/B testing and digital performance reporting, including designing tests and interpreting results.
You are confident working with CMS platforms, analytics tools, booking engines and digital agencies.
You actively use AI tools in your day-to-day work.
You can coordinate website content, campaigns and commercial priorities across multiple locations.
You have strong stakeholder management skills and can work closely with Marketing, Revenue, CRM, SEO and local teams.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
You are an EU resident or have a valid working and residence permit for The Netherlands.
You love to work, because we'll need you full-time.

Zoku provides a home for business travelers and remote workers who want to live and work in a city for a few days to a few months. We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, cowork, and socialize – while wiring you into the local scene. Here's everything you need to know about us:
THE END OF THE HOTEL ROOM
Sleep, work, dine, repeat: all from your own private Zoku Loft.
Bye-bye traditional hotel rooms. We did 150 interviews with our target audience and made 6 different prototypes to create the award-winning Zoku Loft: a spacious micro apartment designed for living comfortably and working efficiently.
In a regular hotel room or studio apartment, the bed always dominates. In the Zoku Loft, the big kitchen table serves as a focal point, shifting the center of the space from the bed to the living room. Now you have a truly livable home to explore Paris and work abroad for as long as you want.
ROOFTOP MEETING ROOMS & EVENT SPACES
Say goodbye to boring conference rooms and dull events. Our rooftop meeting venue is designed to fuel connections, spark ideas, and drive productivity. All of our meeting rooms are flooded with natural light and have amazing views overlooking the city.
On top of this, our friendly team of Sidekicks is on hand to help with whatever you may need, whether that’s providing delicious food and drinks from our on-site restaurant or helping you book an overnight stay in a Loft. Host a brainstorm session, networking event, presentation, or workshop, we can do it all!
COWORKING & COMMUNITY
Join a coworking community where everyone knows your name. Tons of natural light? Check! Inspiring spaces with friendly people? Double check! Discover our rooftop coworking spaces on the top floor of every Zoku. We offer Day Passes (with delicious lunch) and monthly coworking memberships.
