The Head of Product will act as the architect for a strategic transformation, moving the organization from a feature-driven to an outcome-driven product model. We groeien hard en zitten midden in een fundamentele kanteling: we transformeren van een sales- en marketingmachine naar een organisatie waar het product de motor is van alles wat we doen. De wil en de energie zijn er, nu zoeken we een strategisch zwaargewicht die deze transitie gaat versnellen en richting geeft.
Als Head of Product kom je niet op de winkel passen of een backlog beheren. Jij bent de architect van onze nieuwe manier van werken. De dagelijkse operationele run? Die is al ergens anders in het team belegd. Jij krijgt de handen volledig vrij voor de strategische transformatie en de langetermijnvisie. Jouw mandaat is helder: het bouwen van een modern productmodel waarin succes niet wordt afgemeten aan de hoeveelheid features die we opleveren, maar aan de werkelijke impact die ze hebben op de groei van onze ondernemers en onze business.
Jij schept de kaders waarin empowered teams de autonomie krijgen om zelfstandig problemen op te lossen. Je coacht hen om harde aannames direct te tackelen: creëert het échte waarde voor de ondernemer? Is het intuïtief te gebruiken? Is het technisch haalbaar en commercieel levensvatbaar? Pas als die puzzel klopt, gaan we bouwen. Je doorbreekt traditionele silo’s en smeedt multidisciplinaire teams waarin het gouden trio (Product, Design en Engineering) vanaf de start als een eenheid optrekt en het volledige eigenaarschap pakt. Hiërarchie vinden we namelijk maar een moeilijk woord.
Koers & visie: Je vertaalt onze bedrijfsdoelen naar een inspirerende langetermijnvisie en heldere productprincipes;
Organisatie schalen: Je ontwerpt en implementeert een schaalbare teamstructuur (Team Topologies) waarin eigenaarschap en duidelijke kaders voor resultaat centraal staan;
Macro-sturing & alignment: Je introduceert prioriteringskaders en zorgt voor transparantie door de belangrijkste knoppen te definiëren, waar we aan draaien om succes te meten;
Snelheid verhogen: Je verhoogt de slagkracht en vernieuwingssnelheid van onze tech. Je verankert een cultuur van ontdekken, experimenteren en aannames testen;
Strategische impact: Je acteert op strategisch niveau en werkt nauw samen met onze CTO, COO, Team Strategie en het MT. Om de productvisie naadloos te laten aansluiten op onze bedrijfsstrategie.
Ervaring met transitie: Je hebt deze specifieke omslag (van feature-driven naar outcome-driven) al eens succesvol doorleefd en geleid binnen een tech-powered scale-up omgeving. Je brengt minimaal 8 jaar ervaring mee in een strategische leadershiprol binnen productmanagement.
Product sense: Je gelooft heilig in continuous discovery. Je start niet bij de oplossing, maar bij het probleem, en gebruikt data en klantinterviews om aannames te valideren vóórdat de eerste regel code wordt geschreven.
Zwaarte en durf: Je bent gewend te acteren in een dynamische scale-up omgeving en weet hoe je visie omzet in actie. Je bent besluitvaardig op MT-niveau, kunt strategische risico's goed inschatten en schuwt het nemen van moeilijke beslissingen niet als het organisatiebelang daarom vraagt.
Sterke, oprechte communicatie: Organisatiekanteling brengt gezonde frictie met zich mee. Jij kunt op board-level draagvlak creëren, neemt traditionele afdelingen mee en zorgt dat alle neuzen dezelfde kant op staan zonder politieke spelletjes.
Denkniveau: Je hebt HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau en een messcherp analytisch vermogen.
