The Assistant Meat Manager supports the Meat Manager in overseeing department activities, including ordering products and maintaining inventory. They are responsible for managing staff schedules, ensuring health guidelines are followed, and maximizing sales and profits.
Candidates must have a valid Food Handlers Card and at least two years of experience as a meat cutter in a grocery store setting. Prior leadership experience and a strong understanding of grocery store operations are preferred.

Cardenas Markets is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to join our team. The Assistant Meat Manager will be responsible for maintaining and managing all activities of the meat department in the absence of the Meat Manager. The assistant will support the department by assisting with selling, ordering product, maintaining inventory, making sure health guidelines are being followed, scheduling and the overall business management.
