The Surgery Coordinator manages surgery scheduling for multiple subspecialty services and coordinates provider schedules to ensure effective patient care. They are also responsible for handling patient forms, ancillary appointments, and responding to customer inquiries in a clinical setting.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of healthcare experience in roles such as medical assisting or administrative support. Prior experience in a specialty clinic and flexibility to work until 6 PM are preferred.
We are searching for a Surgery Coordinator with our Outpatient Rheumatology/Adolescent Medicine Clinic at our Medical Center location - someone who works well with others in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform surgery scheduling for multiple subspecialty surgical services as well as assist in the coordination of providers schedules in order to effectively manage patient care, while providing excellent customer care in the clinical setting.
