Requires two years of college education or equivalent, with one year of experience in at least two areas: blood banking, shipping/distribution, or customer service. Candidates must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in cold environments on a 3rd shift schedule.

Patients with traumatic injuries, undergoing surgeries or organ transplantation, or receiving treatment for cancer and blood disorders all depend on our services, expertise, laboratories and research. We are local, nonprofit, independent, volunteer-supported and community-based.
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Hospital Inventory Specialist I to join our Hospital Services team at Bloodworks. The incumbent in this role will serve as the primary customer service representative to multiple customers while processing orders for blood components. His role will include recommending component substitutions to maximize utilization of the overall blood inventory and arranging shipping logistics and transportation in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines. There is career progression at the I, II, III, and Lead levels.
