Requires a valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician License and a High School Diploma or GED. National Pharmacy Technician Certification and previous experience are preferred.

General Purpose of Job: Prepare medication and pharmaceutical supplies for dispensing upon receiving prescriptions from physician or other qualified prescriber under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and according to established procedures.

| Education | • High School Diploma or GED • Preferred- High school graduate and 2 years college training in a science curriculum |
| Specialized Knowledge and Skills | • Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job. |
