Responsible for accounting and financial reporting related to worldwide real estate and equipment lease activities. Key tasks include reviewing lease agreements for IFRS implications, preparing monthly payments, and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
Requires an accounting degree or diploma and a minimum of two years of experience with IFRS 16 or related real estate accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, while experience with Oracle, CoStar, and BlackLine is considered an asset.

An opportunity exists for a Financial Analyst with strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational skills. As a key member of the Financial Services team and business partner with real estate, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting related to Stantec’s worldwide real estate and equipment lease activities. He/she will work closely with Corporate Real Estate, Procurement, Accounts Payable and other internal departments as well as with external service providers, including landlords. This is a permanent position in the Edmonton office.
