Get to Know the Opportunity:
Regional Director (RD), Strategic Solutions is a business development role that will strategically support the development, launch and growth of Voya's enterprise solutions focused on multiple employer solutions or pooled plans.
The Multiple Employer Solution Regional Director (RD) role includes, but is not limited to sales of Recordkeeping services for Multiple Employer Plans in all size markets. This individual will be viewed as subject matter expert in all Multiple Employer Solutions across Wealth and can effectively represent a broad range of offerings with internal sales teams and external partners to drive and support collaboration and expansion of these solutions.
This resource is external facing and will assist with many different aspects of growth including educating our sales force as well as intermediaries (advisors, consultants and TPAs) on Voya's portfolio and capabilities. This candidate will identify prospects, work with the sales team to present proposals and explain nuances of pooled plans, attend finalist presentations. This role will also be instrumental in developing strategies to evolve and grow in the space and will provide input on product development and strategic direction based on need, competitive analysis and industry trends. The Multiple Employer Solutions RD acts as a leader on the Wealth Sales team, contributing critical feedback and taking on selected initiatives to improve the portfolio and offering
The Contributions You'll Make
This role will partner with the Wealth Sales and Relationship Management team field personnel in their specific regions and internal teams as part of ongoing product and service development.
The Multiple Employer Solutions RD will be responsible for:
Building relationships across the organization to promote the growth of pooled plan solutions
Attending and leading client, broker, advisor, TPA and consultant meetings
Providing training to local field teams
Attending industry conferences to build Voya brand and reputation
Partnering with Marketing to develop collateral helpful for growth in this space
Supporting implementation and client service on an “as needed” basis
Supporting onboarding of new team members
Multiple Employer Solutions RDs will be viewed as leaders by the organization and experts in Multiple Employer plans of all types.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
• 6+ years of sales/marketing success selling Retirement and preferable Multiple Employer products through brokers and consultants.
• Extensive product knowledge in the pooled plan space, strong marketplace relationships, and be open to travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
• Series 6 and 63 licenses
• Proven track record of sales success.
This position will sit 100% remote but must be near a major airport for travel

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
