Manage and oversee outsourced facilities management contracts and service providers to ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, cost-effective, and high-quality facilities services across all company sites. Act as the primary interface between the organization and service providers to ensure contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), regulatory requirements, and operational standards are consistently achieved, supporting a safe, efficient, and fit-for-purpose workplace environment.
Baseline:
NQF Level 7 BSc Engineering or BTech in Facilities Management Building Services or related field.
8 years’ experience in Facilities Management & Project Management
Minimum 3 years' experience managing outsourced service providers.
Experience in contract management and SLA monitoring.
Experience managing multidisciplinary facilities services across multiple sites.
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of HSEQ and statutory compliance requirements.
Performance management and continuous improvement focus.
Advantageous:
· Registration with a recognised professional body in the Built Environment (e.g. ECSA, SACAP, SAFMA).
· Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), or equivalent certification.
· Project Management qualification or certification.
· Experience managing facilities management services across multiple sites within a large corporate or industrial environment.

What you’ll be doing
Manage the end-to-end outsourced facilities management contract ensuring effective governance, service continuity, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Manage the maintenance and operational integrity of buildings, infrastructure, and workplace facilities to ensure a safe, secure, and functional working environment.
Ensure outsourced providers comply with company HSEQ standards, policies,procedures and applicable legal and statutory requirements.
Monitor and assess contractor compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards through regular inspections, audits and performance reviews.
Manage facilities management budgets and expenditure to ensure effective allocation of resources and alignment with operational requirements.
Review and approve contractor invoices and payment certificates and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, contractual compliance, and value for money.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers, and site management to ensure facilities services meet operational requirements and business expectations.
Develop, implement and monitor facilities management KPIs and performance metrics to measure service delivery effectiveness, operational efficiency, and contractor performance.
Analyse service performance trends against agreed SLAs, contractual obligations, and business requirements, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
Coordinate and oversee facilities-related projects delivered by outsourced contractors, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational objectives.
