A high school diploma is required, with a preference for candidates who have ophthalmic or optometric technician experience. Proficiency with Nextech/ICP and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment are strongly desired.

Responsible for assisting the ophthalmologist by gathering data pertaining to the patient’s ocular health status. The ophthalmic technician is proficient in performing appropriate clinical tests, drawing on formal education and/or clinical experience that provide a solid understanding of the theory and principles of eye care.
