The Life Skills Specialist provides direct support and supervision to adults in substance use disorder treatment to foster a safe therapeutic environment. Key duties include facilitating life skills groups, teaching coping strategies, and documenting client progress toward independent living.
A High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with an acceptable record are required. Experience in behavioral health or human services is preferred but not mandatory.

Our York, Pennsylvania facility is dedicated to delivering compassionate, client-centered care in a structured, recovery-focused environment. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Life Skills Specialist to join our team and help individuals build the skills needed for long-term recovery and independent living.
The Life Skills Specialist provides direct support, supervision, and life skills development services to adults receiving substance use disorder treatment. This position plays a key role in fostering a safe, therapeutic environment while helping clients develop practical skills, build healthy coping strategies, and actively engage in their recovery journey.
