The Food Services Assistant is responsible for the preparation and serving of food, as well as assembling and delivering patient trays. Additionally, the role involves cleaning service areas and operating a cash register to process payments from patients, staff, and visitors.
Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English while following oral and written instructions. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the role requires up to one month of prior work experience.

Starting pay rate: $18.00/hr + pay for experience
Performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food, along with cleanup tasks, including provides outstanding customer service to patients, staff, and visitors; assembles and delivers patient trays; prepares equipment, foods and beverages and restocks for service in the cafeteria and other retail/café locations; cleans up after meals following established practices and procedures. May operate cash register as needed including receiving payments, balancing the cash drawer after each meal and compiling information for required reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Reviews menu and prep sheets and assembles food and supplies as needed for daily salad and cold foods preparation.
