Perform magnetic resonance procedures while ensuring patient safety and adhering to magnetic safety protocols. Act as the primary liaison between patients and interpreting radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Requires graduation from an accredited Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or Radiation Therapy program with ARRT certification in MRI. BLS certification is required, and at least two years of experience as a staff technologist is preferred.

Perform magnetic resonance procedures while demonstrating an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology and magnetic safety. The MR technologist relies on good communication skills to act as the primary liaison between the patient and the interpreting radiologist. The use of professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking allow the technologist to be a responsible member of the health care team
