The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medications for orthopedic and total joint surgery patients. They coordinate care plans with an interdisciplinary team and evaluate nursing interventions to maximize patient safety and satisfaction.
Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania and hold a Basic Life Support Certification. A graduate degree from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required, while a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

The Registered Nurse assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient. Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction. Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions. Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in their assigned nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring the very best patient and family experience by optimizing all interactions.
Hour include: 7a-7:30p; Every other weekend and holiday requirements.
Unit Description: Primarily private rooms with some semi-private rooms. Patient population of broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions, specializing in surgical orthopedic patient and total joint surgery. Onsite physical and occupational therapy gym. Hospitalists services 24/7.
