The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for executing hydro excavation processes and acting as a crew lead to ensure projects are completed safely and timely. This includes operating heavy machinery, managing pothole operators, and maintaining accurate DOT logs and work orders.
Candidates must possess a valid CDL Class A or B with airbrake and tanker endorsements and pass a DOT physical and drug screen. A minimum of one year of potholing experience and two years of experience in dry utilities is required.

The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation processes. The incumbent operates Hydrovac, and other machines used in construction to excavate, load, dig or break rocks or debris, dirt, or other materials. The Hydrovac Operator acts as crew lead, responsible for the completion of projects in a safe and timely manner. Safe Operations of Truck and Its Equipment.
