The Social Worker manages a caseload of students and families, providing assessments and facilitating intervention meetings for those in crisis. They act as a liaison between the school and external agencies like Child Protective Services and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Requires a Master's degree in social work or a related field and at least one to three years of documented field experience. Candidates must hold a Colorado Social Worker Certificate or Licensed Clinical Social Worker license and be able to travel 20% of the time.

Residency Requirements: Must reside in Colorado
The Social Worker is responsible for helping families in situations of crisis, abuse and neglect, in addition to supporting other areas of social-emotional need affecting student academic achievement. The position responds to issues directly, by facilitating meetings and/or by coordinating services with outside parties such as Child Protective Services, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and other community-based organizations.
