The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care. They must collaborate with a diverse team to manage patients in a Level III Trauma Emergency Department setting.
Candidates must hold an ADN degree, with a BSN preferred, and possess a valid Virginia or compact multistate RN license. Previous hospital experience is required, with specific experience in an Emergency Department setting highly preferred.

PT - Weekend Days (Sat 9a-7p and Sun 9a-4p)
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
This is a 41-bed Level III Trauma ED with 6 beds dedicated to a lock down psychiatric screening and treatment area. We are a stroke certified ED and receive STEMI and psychiatric patients. The ED treats about 150 patients per day with a dedicated radiology suite in the ED for plain film and CT imaging. We have a diverse nursing and ED Tech team.
ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.
Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
TNCC preferred
RN Experienced in a hospital setting.
RN Experience in the ED highly preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly.
