The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility and daily living skills for patients. They will work in an acute care setting to help patients recover from disease or injury and restore independence.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher. Required credentials include NBCOT certification, a Virginia state license in Occupational Therapy, and BLS certification.
As an Occupational Therapist you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury and help build or restore vocational/ daily living skills as well as general independence.
