Design and define cutting-edge semiconductor wafer processing equipment through the full life cycle from concept to productization. Conduct detailed structural, thermal, and fluid analysis to validate design performance and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's with 3+ years, or a PhD. Proficiency in 3D CAD tools like CREO or SolidWorks and strong communication skills are essential.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you're designing and defining cutting-edge semiconductor wafer processing equipment. You will be challenged to solve multi-disciplinary problems involving mechanical design, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, material science, electro-mechanical systems, sensors, and other areas through a combination of analysis and experimentation. Your role involves feasibility studies, design, prototyping, testing, and guiding teams in detailed design and fabrication. You provide the crucial designs and results that allow the team to achieve our next generation products.
