Responsible for the assessment, development, and implementation of home care education to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Acts as an informatics liaison for technology competence and coordinates learning activities with educational institutions.
Requires graduation from an approved nursing program with a bachelor's degree preferred and OASIS certification within one year. Preference is given to candidates with ten years of nursing practice, including five in home care, and CPR Instructor certification.

As a Home Care Educator, you will be responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of education for home care with an emphasis on ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Work in collaboration with the home care managers to ensure orientation, competency, development and integration of new colleagues as well as the ongoing development of current staff. Additional responsibilities include serving as the informatics liaison and providing education regarding competence with the multiple types of technologies (computer, electronic health record (Epic), learning management system, etc.) that are required for each role. The educator also functions as a liaison with schools, colleges and universities to coordinate student learning activities.

Graduate of an approved Nursing education program, bachelor’s in nursing is preferred.
Certification in OASIS within one year (Home Care only)
