Purpose of the role

To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

• Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.

• Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.

• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.

• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.

• Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.

• Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.

• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.

• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.

Step into the role of Analyst - UKCB Origination and Servicing Analyst at Barclays, where you'll provide first-class support by conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding our clients and organization with expertise and care.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:

• Manage a complex portfolio of mid to large corporate lending cases, handling day to day processing of all stages from submission to drawdown, reconciliation and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.

• Provide expert guidance and technical input to colleagues, leadership, and clients on lending transactions, quality assurance, and resolution of escalated issues.

• Drive continuous process improvements and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate client fund payments.

• Act as the subject matter expert and point of contact for process, procedural, and change queries within EMEA teams, ensuring up-to-date documentation and audit readiness.

• Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively.

Desirable Skillsets:

• Previous experience in Lending Operations.

• Good knowledge on Payments, Reconciliation, ACBS/ LIQ and Facility Agreements.

• Good influencing skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
