The Medical Dosimetrist provides comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing proton radiation therapy and designs quality assurance procedures. They collaborate with physicians, therapists, and physicists to ensure optimal patient care and support clinical projects.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in physics or a related field, or have graduated from a JRCERT-accredited Medical Dosimetry Program. Certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) or board eligibility is required.

Position Summary:
The Medical Dosimetrist, under limited supervision, provides comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing proton radiation therapy. The Dosimetrist also designs and implements quality assurance procedures and clinical protocols in accordance with departmental and clinical needs. The successful candidate works closely with physicians, radiation therapists, and medical physicists to provide optimal treatment for our patients.

The salary range and/or hourly rate displayed is a determination of base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
