The Lead Clinical Pharmacy Specialist coordinates clinical pharmacy services and develops systems to ensure safe, cost-effective drug therapies for optimal patient outcomes. They also facilitate the implementation of treatment guidelines and provide clinical education to medical staff.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and possess at least five years of clinical pharmacy experience, including five years in a leadership role. A valid Florida pharmacist license and specific life support certifications (BLS, ACLS, or PALS) are required.

The Lead Clinical Pharmacy Specialist facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost effective drug therapies.
