The Applications Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC manufacturing processes, including programming and tooling selection for milling, turning, and grinding operations. They provide hands-on support on the shop floor to train machinists, resolve manufacturing issues, and ensure production quality and efficiency.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machine shop operations, with specific proficiency in Siemens NX. The role requires a strong understanding of cutting tools for superalloys and the ability to work onsite in a full-time capacity.
