The Role
Following a period of growth, and to strengthen our existing teams, we are looking for experienced, proactive, motivated and enthusiastic, people to join our Operations team, delivering work to clients throughout the UK.
No 2 days will be the same!
Working in a fast paced, varied role, you will be required to manage day to day operational site control of large-scale ground investigation and geotechnical projects within the UK, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, cost control, performance to programme and customer service, leading client meetings, and coordinating with commercial teams.
Leading the Site team, you will manage contracts to ensure that they perform in line with budget, maintaining a motivated, effective and safety conscious workforce, whilst liaising with our Client and project stakeholders.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in contracts management, particularly within infrastructure and energy sectors, and possess strong communication skills.
Based from our Leeds office, it will require regular travel to office and site locations.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for qualified candidates with experience within the geotechnical industry, with a solid understanding of ground conditions, Drilling and Site Investigation works.
Candidates should have a good understanding of geotechnical processes and contract management, with great communication skills both orally and written.
Candidates must be customer-service focused and have a professional approach, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with clients and members of the wider team. Previous experience with main contractors and management of client relationships is essential.
Full UK Driving License Required.
The job will involve frequent travel to sites throughout the UK, and will involve working away from home, as such, applicants must be flexible in terms of work and location.
