The RN is responsible for providing post-operative care for general elective surgical cases in a fast-paced environment. This includes collaborating with the healthcare team and families to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid RN license. A Bachelor's degree and one year of experience are preferred.

Welcome to the 3rd floor Med Surg Unit at St. Anthony Hospital, a Magnet® designated, level one trauma center. The third floor is a new 28 bed surgical unit specializing in post-operative care for general elective surgical cases. Our patients have a wide range of diagnoses requiring planned surgical intervention. A good candidate for the 3rd floor would be someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and teamwork.
Our surgical unit lends itself to developing great relationships with our coworkers and we work together to provide excellent patient care. We also pride ourselves in our growth pathways for our staff, and we are a great starting point for someone interested in a future in Critical Care, Emergency medicine and the OR.
