The Environmental Technician is responsible for the consolidation, treatment, storage, and transport of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations. They also operate heavy equipment and maintain accurate documentation for all material handling activities.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working with hazardous materials and possess a High School Diploma or GED. The role requires the physical ability to operate forklifts and work in various climate conditions while wearing necessary personal protective equipment.

The Environmental Technician consolidates, treats, stores, packs, transports and/or disposes of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally responsible and compliant practices, policies, and procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate records.
Pay rate starts at $23.00
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more. In addition, commencing no later than January 1, 2027, benefits package will include participation in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement. Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.
Sick leave – 24 hours; Observed Holidays – 2 floating days and 8 paid holiday; Vacation – 112 hours
