The Crematory Operator is responsible for the respectful receipt, processing, and return of remains while maintaining facility equipment. They also assist with the transportation of the deceased and ensure all documentation and identification procedures are strictly followed.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be capable of lifting 100 lbs. Crematory operator certification is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
As a Crematory Operator, you will be responsible for seeing that the remains are correctly received, processed, and returned to the family. You may also assist with transporting the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home. As funeral home representatives, you must maintain composure in challenging situations with compassion and kindness. You must be at least 21 years old, able to safely lift 100 lbs, and have a valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record.
