The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the integrity of Vistra's OT network for GCS. This includes optimizing network performance, ensuring regulatory compliance with NERC CIP guidelines, and providing 24x7 on-call support.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in network engineering. Proficiency with vendors like Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortinet, as well as experience with Panorama and VPN tunnels, is required.

Job Summary
The Network Engineer will work closely with senior members of the team to maintain the integrity of Vistra's OT network for GCS, following NERC CIP guidelines. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting GCS network systems for real-time systems.•Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
•provide support for setting up IPSec tunnels necessary to integrate new resources as Vistra portfolio grows
•Upkeeping of systems security per regulatory compliance obligations
•Be on-call on rotation schedule for 24x7 support of GCS network
Good Experience in Managing a fleet of firewalls through Panorama including the below features
Good knowledge of IP Address management (IPAM), Active Directory and DNS
