The Body Technician is responsible for restoring vehicles with light to heavy damage by performing disassembly, panel repair, and welding according to manufacturer specifications. They must ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards while mentoring apprentices and meeting delivery deadlines.
Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of automobile collision repair and proficiency in welding and tool usage. I-CAR Gold Class and ASE certifications are preferred, along with the physical ability to perform demanding manual labor in a shop environment.

Key responsibilities include assessing exterior damage, repairing manufacturer guidelines, ensuring necessary parts, reshaping panels with minor damage, welding and refinishing techniques as needed.
