Candidates must hold a valid Ohio teaching license and a Career-Based Intervention (CBI) endorsement or the ability to obtain one. A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred, along with experience working with at-risk or career-focused student populations.

We are seeking professionals who prioritize student learning, employability skills, career readiness, and intervention strategies that support student success. ACCEL Schools uses a cutting-edge 21st-century curriculum, which can be accessed online and through a variety of traditional methods.
The Ohio Career Technical Education Specialist will support Career Tech Education and Career-Based Intervention programs across ACCEL Schools’ Ohio brick-and-mortar network. This individual will provide guidance and support related to program implementation, compliance, work-based learning, curriculum resources, and student support strategies aligned to Ohio CTE and CBI requirements. The role will work closely with school leaders, teachers, and the National CTE Team to strengthen program quality, expand student opportunities, and ensure sustainable CTE and CBI programming.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
