The Role

As an OpenShift Platform Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and support of Red Hat OpenShift platforms across on‑premise and cloud environments. In this role, you ensure the stability, security, and scalability of containerized platforms that support critical business applications.

You will work closely with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized workloads, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with defined service levels. Your expertise will contribute directly to reliable service delivery and continuous platform improvement at Kyndryl.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and support Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on‑premise and cloud environments

• Manage Kubernetes resources including pods, namespaces, services, ingress, and containerized workloads

• Deploy, support, and troubleshoot applications using CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices

• Ensure platform security, availability, and reliability through RBAC, certificates, secrets, networking, and monitoring

• Provide operational support and incident resolution in line with SLAs, collaborating with DevOps and SRE teams

Who You Are

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. You are customer-focused, proactive in problem resolution, and comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced operational environments.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift platforms (on‑premise and/or cloud)

• Practical experience with Kubernetes administration

• Experience supporting containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of cluster installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching

• Experience with security, monitoring, logging, automation and scripting

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280)

• Experience integrating OpenShift with VMware, storage, and networking

• Intermediate English proficiency

• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
