Minimum qualifications:

• A strong interest or background in AI/ML product management.

Fraud and abuse take many forms across the platform and are designed to manipulate consumer decision making or make the platform unsafe for users and businesses ranging from gaming business ratings and posting fraudulent phone numbers to uploading offensive media and vandalizing the map for personal motives.

The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.

The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.

Responsibilities:

• Define the product goal, roadmap, and success metrics, using data analysis and evaluation to inform both high-level strategy and day-to-day decisions.
• Provide cross-functional leadership to a virtual team spanning engineering, operations, analytics, UX, policy, legal, PR, privacy, and compliance across multiple product areas (Geo, Core, Trust and Safety, Commerce).
• Be resourceful in rallying stakeholders behind a common goal, backed by articulate and confident communication.
  
• Collaborate effectively with machine learning, platform, and experiences teams to build scalable solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment working alongside with technical teams including AI/ML.
