The Senior Product Designer will lead the end-to-end design process for card products, including discovery, prototyping, and interaction design. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define customer problems and ensure consistent, high-quality user experiences across the card product family.
Candidates must have 7+ years of product design experience and a strong portfolio showcasing shipped, customer-centric work. Expert-level proficiency in Figma and experience in regulated or high-trust domains like fintech are required.
Remitly is looking for a Senior Product Designer to be a key design voice for our card products. Card experiences carry real financial weight for customers, many of them building financial footing in a new country — onboarding, disclosures, funding, and everyday spend all demand clarity, dignity, and accuracy.
In this role, you will drive strategic design work across defined parts of the card experience, from onboarding and activation through funding and account management. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Writers to define customer problems and goals, using strong communication and influence skills to build alignment across the organization. You will take pride in setting the bar for craft, designing experiences that customers love while delivering meaningful business value. You will report to the GM, Remitly Card, and work in a hybrid capacity from our Arlington office.
