The Lead Class A Driver is responsible for dispatching drivers, assigning loads and equipment, and monitoring safety compliance. They also handle payroll entry, driver training, and oversee vehicle maintenance and DOT paperwork.
Candidates must possess a Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and at least 2 years of recent Class A driving experience. Additionally, 6 months to 1 year of lead driver or supervisory experience is required.

The Lead Class A Truck Driver plays a vital role in ensuring the company’s continued success. This position requires a person to be dependable, focused on safety and requires a person be flexible and cooperative. The Lead CDL Driver should have all the skills of a CDL Driver and possess the ability to successfully driver, train, and mentor CDL Drivers.
