The Dispatcher, Linehaul is responsible for dispatching drivers to ensure on-time local and out-of-state deliveries while monitoring Hours-of-Service compliance. The Dispatcher, Linehaul will be responsible for dispatching drivers to maintain service levels of on-time local and out state deliveries. Ensure drivers are adhering to Hours-of-Service regulations. Notify customers of arrival schedules. Prioritize under pressure in the best interest of the company, customers, and drivers.
Position functions with supervision and has no direct reports.
Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0-3 years of experience dispatching in logistics/transportation industry preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
