As an Operating Engineer at JLL, you'll serve as a vital technical expert responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and operation of all critical building systems that keep our client's facility running at peak performance. This hands-on role encompasses everything from HVAC and plumbing to structural, fire/life safety, and building control systems — ensuring each operates to applicable standards and delivers optimal performance for building occupants. You'll take ownership of preventative maintenance programs, vendor relationships, inventory control, and both routine and emergency repairs that maintain the integrity and functionality of the property. We embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career, and this position provides exactly that through exposure to diverse building systems and evolving facility technologies. Your technical proficiency will be essential as you monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot recurring issues, and make critical adjustments that optimize system efficiency.
