The Paver Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of asphalt paving machines to spread and level hot mix asphalt on highways and streets. They must perform daily equipment maintenance, monitor material temperatures, and coordinate with dump trucks to ensure project specifications are met.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as a Paving Operator and 5 years in the road construction industry. A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Reporting to the Foreman, the Paver Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the asphalt paver. This role involves operating paving machines to spread and level hot mix asphalt on the subgrade of highways and streets. Using stakes and level gauges, the paver operator ensures that the asphalt mix is placed to the specified grade and thickness, meeting project specifications.
